Job Summary
Manages the total research needs of a set of clients (representing total billings to be agreed with the Managing Director/Research Director) by initiating researches based on client objectives and supervising their implementation. Acts as Product Champion for specific Company's service/s, with responsibility for promoting the service, overseeing projects utilizing the specific service, and providing expert advice and training to research staff undertaking such projects. Key Responsibilities Business Building Identify potential clients for new business development in line with Company's objective and initiate contact with them.
Conduct oral briefings and presentations of Company's services. Specialization Develop mastery of specific Company's product/s or service/s Develop the marketing plan for the specific product/s and/or service/s championed. Take overall charge of promoting a specific Company's product(s)/service(s) and supervise the implementation of researches utilizing such product/service. Client Servicing Service the requirements of a set of accounts. Acts as marketing and research consultant by identifying client needs and designing the most appropriate research methodology in answer to these needs. Establish a working relationship with client based on partnership. Ensure constant communication with assigned accounts. Project Management Review (or establish, as necessary) budgets and timing for each project or service. Review (or prepare, as necessary) research proposals and instruments before final release to client. Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring, promotion, transfer, salary review or dismissal. Other Participate in special projects, which the Company may undertake. Undertake special administrative tasks as may be assigned. Expectations Ensure the financial objectives for the assigned set of accounts or Company's product(s)/service(s). Ensure client satisfaction by championing adherence to the "One Extra Step" principles and maintaining a good relationship with assigned clients. Maintain close client contact to keep abreast of developments on client's end, which may be opportunities for offering research services to client. Keep abreast of developments in one's assigned area of specialization by reading professional journals/books, attending conferences, etc. Ensure the growth and development of assigned subordinates.
Experience Requirement
At least five (5) years in a research project management function (preferably in Marketing Research, Customized Marketing Research of Qualitative and or Quantitative Research projects) Educational Requirement Holder of S-1 degree or S-2 degree is a plus, major in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology, Communications Research and related fields.
